At ZooAtronic Productions, we create and endorse magical, immersive experiences and entertainment that will bring families closer to nature through wonder, play, and storytelling.
No captive wildlife, no cages or tanks. Just joyful adventures, powered by creativity and technology, to inspire curiosity, connection, and care for wild animals and the rest of the natural world.
We believe the best way to protect the planet is to connect with nature, and to fall in love with it early. That’s why we’re building a new kind of wildlife experience: one where creativity meets conservation, and where your family’s sense of awe can grow with every visit.

Nature connection shapes lasting change
We’re not separate from nature, we are nature. By nurturing empathy, awe, and connection early in life, we can uplift a generation to live, lead, and care for a world they feel truly part of.
Animal wellbeing comes first
We challenge the long-held belief that traditional zoos are the best way to learn about animals. Viewing wildlife in captivity can teach the wrong lessons, reinforcing separation instead of belonging. True conservation supports life in the wild, not life on display.
Early experiences matter
The first five years of life shape how we see the world. That’s why we’re creating awe-filled encounters with wildlife and ecosystems that nurture the curiosity and compassion that we’re born with, right from the very beginning.
Access should be for all
Connection with nature shouldn’t depend on where you live, what you earn, or whether you can travel. Through immersive design, creativity, technology, and teamwork, we bring global ecosystems to local communities, while encouraging a sense of connection to local nature that is accessible to everyone.
Our structure and team
We might be just getting started, but our vision is big!
We’re building ZooAtronic as a social enterprise because we believe business should be a force for good. Even though we’re still in our start-up phase, our mission is front and centre in everything we do.
Once we begin generating profit, every penny will go straight back into what we’re creating – from developing new immersive spaces and improving our venues, to launching outreach programmes for schools and communities.
In the future, we plan to set up a grant fund to support community-led conservation and other incredible initiatives that share our values.
Katie Tostevin-Hobbs
FOUNDER
Katie is the founder and visionary force behind ZooAtronic Productions. With over 20 years in the animal welfare and conservation charity sector, her career has centred on improving the lives of animals and inspiring thoughtful, empathetic connections between people and the natural world.

In 2021, Katie stepped away from the security of a full-time role to pursue a bold idea she had been harbouring for years: that families could be brought closer to wildlife without captivity or compromise. With no roadmap and no attractions industry experience, she poured her energy into building ZooAtronic from the ground up, driven by belief, imagination, and the conviction that deeper connection with nature is one of the most powerful and overlooked catalysts for lasting change.
Joanna Tonge
MULTIMEDIA DIRECTOR
Joanna brings over two decades of experience in the creative industry, from producing TV commercials and documentaries to designing large-scale AVs and interactive content for the visitor attraction sector.

Jooles is the creative mind behind our branding, helping shape the look and feel of ZooAtronic.

With 20 years of experience across art, photography and design, Jooles has worked on everything from digital and print media to book publishing, brand development, and large-scale exhibition artwork. Her eye for detail and creative flair brings our brand to life in bold and beautiful ways.
The Canopy
We call our advisory circle The Canopy – a supportive network of brilliant, visionary, and inspiring people who help shape our path as we grow. Like the canopy of a forest, this group offers shelter, perspective, and connection; nurturing bold ideas and keeping our roots grounded in purpose.
Georgina Groves
With over two decades of experience in the animal welfare field, Georgina is a specialist in advancing the wellbeing of wild animals in captivity. She is the co-founder of the international charity Wild Welfare, and for the past 15 years has worked across the globe to raise welfare standards.

Wendy Heimann-Nunes
Wendy is an accomplished attorney, entrepreneur, and producer with over 30 years’ experience in immersive and experiential entertainment worldwide. As co-founder of Nolan Heimann LLP, she has guided some of the industry’s most innovative developers and storytellers.

Wendy serves on the board of the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA), helping to shape the future of themed experiences. She’s also a passionate musician and visionary advocate for the power of immersive experiences to inspire and connect communities.
Alesha Dixon
Alesha is an award-winning music artist, entrepreneur, presenter, and bestselling children’s author with over 20 years’ experience in the entertainment industry. Known for her work across music, television, and publishing, she has become a familiar face on prime-time TV and a powerful voice for creativity and compassion.

Professor Miles Richardson
Miles is a Professor of Human Factors and Nature Connectedness at the University of Derby. He founded the Nature Connectedness Research Group and advises nationally and internationally. Miles is also the creator of the ‘biodiversity stripes’.

In development - our pilot experience
We’re busy building our first-ever family experience, and it’s going to be something unique and special.
We can’t share all the detail yet, but we can tell you that you’ll be able to step into a world full of wonder, where little adventurers and their grown-ups can journey through imaginative recreations of wild habitats, bringing the magic of distant ecosystems within reach, no long flights or real animals needed – just immersive design inspired by nature itself.
This will be a place where empathy grows, and nature feels close. A welcoming space for all kinds of families, blending wild adventure with conservation and thoughtful design.
Part nature-inspired kids’ club, part immersive storytelling world, everything will be created with care for animals and respect for the planet.
